Very nice and charming. It's a wonderfull place to relax just hearing the birds around.
The mattresses are a bit hard . The restaurant is not a very good deal.

Interesting setting with the old mine nearby but a beautiful conversion of original buildings to a luxurious hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the excellent food.
The TV in the room was stupidly positioned inside on a cupboard shelf

The units at Alentejo Star Hotel are modern and updated, featuring a lovely balcony. the location of the hotel is remote, offering proximity to both the Alentejo Star restaurant for breakfast and opportunities for practicing water sports. - the scenic Pulo do Lobo is just a short distance away from the hotel.

Lovely historic hotel in a beautiful garden. Lots of water around. Old mining town and interesting walks near the old mining installations. We both had spa treatment and we will be back soon.

This place has quickly become our favorite spot to visit, with its lovely rural setting near various attractions like a castle and a palace, a clean pool, convenient parking, and a gym for guests to use.

the hotel ambience and its surroundings, located in a beautiful place near a lagoon. Very well renovated, Nice swimming pool.
The pool was not clean every day and with a full booked hotel, that matters!

The new manager, Robert, was exceptional in attending to our needs. We were treated to a private meal prepared by the chef when the dining room was reserved for a special event. the spacious room and breakfast were also enjoyable. Key location facts: the hotel is located in a quiet area, perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. We loved being able to walk through the nearby mines and explore the surroundings. One more advantage: the upgrade to a spa room was a nice touch, although we're not sure if it was worth the extra cost. Nonetheless, all the rooms seemed to be nice and well-maintained.
The food at the hotel was a letdown. the limited menu and below-average standard of cooking were disappointing.

I stayed with my family for four days and Im happy to reccomend. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very confortable, the location is fantastic. Loved the pool and the different chill out areas.
I enjoyed my stay overall but I would like to have a restaurant that is less fancy or leave the pool bar menu available until later. I would also like a room service menu.

Got large and silent room with nice views to the lake and balcony and a safe box and a hair dryer. Stunning location with free parking and right by the Resturant. Speedy check in and late check out.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
